Pi Day and Oil Change Party

So, we had a busy weekend. Saturday started with family pictures with the Petersons at Cyprus at 8:30am. I'm sure they turned out adorably. After changing the oil in the Seniorcitizenmobile, Jake and I headed over to the Hale to volunteer at the guild store, just to keep our foot in the door over there and keep getting free tickets. It's totally worth a Saturday afternoon or two. Afterwards we were able to catch the remnants of Pi Day with about 8 or so different kinds of pi. Yummy!

We spent Sunday evening and a wonderful dinner with the Clarks in Magna, and had yet another pie! Good thing we like pie. Jake was so impatient he couldn't even wait for it to cool down all the way. :D

Pi Day

We're pretty sure we're not going to make it to the Peterson Family Pi Day celebration on Saturday, but we got to make a pie ourselves for the REAL Pi Day!
We took a few shortcuts and did a little damage control, but it turned out deliciously.

Peach Pi for two

On a less appetizing note, Jake is under the weather again, and called in sick. Here's hoping we don't feel the effects of not having health insurance so soon. He's a fighter, so the weather will soon be under him!
